About
Thirty years in PEO. Founder, seller, and the person who still knows how a deal dies.
I opened a market as the first PEO salesperson in 1997. I founded JanusHR and sold the assets. Now I build the revenue engine for emerging operators who are still the best salesperson in the company.
The short version
I have sat on both sides of the table.
Most advisors have either sold PEO or run one. I have done both. I know what it is to carry a quota, run a team of 43, price a book so it stays profitable at renewal, and hand a company to a buyer without the clients walking out the door.
JanusHR was an idea that became a licensed Florida PEO — 40+ clients, 800+ worksite employees, more than $180 million in processed payroll — launched months before a global pandemic and acquired in 2023. After the sale I stayed on as SVP Sales and an equity shareholder. Then I went back to the work I do best: building the machine underneath an operator who cannot hire a CRO yet and cannot afford another lost year.
I am not here to become overhead. The work gets built with the person who will own it, documented while it is being made, and tested against live deals before I go.

Built the company from concept to asset sale. Carrier and WC program design, multi-state compliance, and a sales motion that had to work with a small team.

Opened the market, ran the region, then built the channel. Finished that chapter with 43 people across eight markets — then built JanusHR.
